- https://www.godaddy.com (This is the preferred company). The more years you register, the more the savings, 3 years, 5 years or more is recommended.
- https://www.namespro.ca/
- https://www.cloudflare.com/products/registrar/
The first step is to “search” and ascertain that the domain name is still available for registration, the more years you register, the more the savings, 3 years, 5 years or more is recommended.
Note: Do not sign up for “web forwarding” or “web hosting”, just sign up for Domain Registration (Be sure to save your username and password as you will need it to update the DNS Servers later on.)
Also keep in mind that Domain Names should be kept short, brief and easy to remember. Long Domain Names are not ideal as they are not easy to remember.
